Awareness through painting
Process painting shows us that we can bring all of ourselves into the world – into the unfolding, ongoing movement of life itself with its surprises, delights and challenges. This weekend, we explore the relationship between painting and mindfulness, bringing special attention to using process painting as a tool for deepening awareness.
Join us and discover the courage to trust the spontaneous aspect of your own nature.
Everyone with an interest in exploring the creative process through expressive painting is welcome: no prior experience in painting or meditative practice is required. We’ll all be starting from beginner's mind.
Tuition: $485 | Accommodations or Commuter Fee extra ~ Your tuition includes all art materials, over 16 hours of facilitated painting sessions, group discussion circles in supportive community, a video presentation about creativity and the practice of art as process. You may notice that we’ve increased our prices slightly (by just under 8%). It’s our first increase in over 15 years and it will help us meet the growing costs of travel, space rental, and materials so we can continue to serve you. And this weekend includes an new evening session Saturday night. Scholarships and work exchanges are available. Thank you for your understanding!
