First time students find these weekend workshops an excellent introduction to the principles of the Process Arts as outlined in the book Life, Paint & Passion: Reclaiming the Magic of Spontaneous Expression. Continuing students find an opportunity to deepen their practice, to gain new insights into their process and to work within a supportive, stimulating community.

Weekends register well in advance, so please make your reservation early.

Located just north of San Francisco, the Bay Conference facilities at the Romberg Center provides unparalleled views of the north bay, and is one of the most secluded and unspoiled sites on the San Francisco shoreline. It is an ideal setting for painting, with a spacious studio area that is light and airy, as well as a private rooms for meeting and our catered lunches.

Workshop meets from 6:30 - 9:30 Friday evening, 10 - 5 Sat. & Sun. A fresh catered lunch is provided Saturday and Sunday 12:30 -2.

Tuition:
$450 + $25 materials fee. $200 deposit. Includes gourmet lunches Sat/Sun.

Directions from San Francisco
Take Highway 101 North over the Golden Gate Bridge to the Tiburon/East Blithedale exit. Turn right onto Tiburon Boulevard and continue on this road to Trestle Glen Boulevard (1.9 miles). Turn left on Trestle Glen Boulevard and follow it to its end (0.6 miles), where it meets Paradise Drive. Turn right on Paradise Drive and follow it 2.6 miles to the Bay Conference Center (3152 Paradise Drive).

OR - Take Highway 101 North over the Golden Gate Bridge to the Tiburon/East Blithedale exit. Turn right onto Tiburon Boulevard and continue on this road to the City of Tiburon. Just as you reach the bay, the road winds to the left around a small circle and then continues. The road is now called Paradise Drive. Continue on this road to the Bay Conference Center (3152 Paradise Drive).

Directions from the North
Take Highway 101 South to the Tiburon Boulevard exit. Turn left onto Tiburon Boulevard and continue as described in either of the paragraphs above.

Directions from the town of Tiburon
About 3 miles from Tiburon you will come to a large gate on your right at 3150 Paradise Drive - it says "Bay Conference Center". Don't take this. Continue on for another 1/2 mile (pass a mailbox at 3173 Paradise) until you come to another (smaller) gate on your right that says 3152. Turn right through the gate and park.

Parking :
When you pull in the gate there will be a large building on your left. Go behind it and park. We are in the Bay Conference Center, a large building at the end of the parking lot beyond the water tower.


Accommodations
We look forward to your participation in our Bay Area workshop. We have compiled a list of accommodations for your convenience. Our list includes Marin County options only. You may also prefer to stay in San Francisco, a 15-20 minute drive over the Golden Gate Bridge. It is recommended that you book reservations ASAP. Tiburon is a tourist Mecca, and hotels and B&Bs book early.
