Stewart will be teaching his second workshop in Switzerland this summer, from July 23 - 28 at the beautiful Kientalerhof Retreat Center. Kientalerhof -- the Center of Wellbeing and Creativity -- is located in the small village of Kiental, one of the most spectacular alpine settings in Switzerland. This village in the Bernese Oberland is close to Spiez at the beautiful Lake of Thoune. It consists mostly of traditional wooden homes with views of the majestic Bluemlisalp (3663 meters). Kiental can be easily reached by car or public transportation.
Over the past 20 years, Kientalerhof has gained a remarkable international reputation for its outstanding courses and trainings. The center stands for personal integrity and professional competence. It fosters awareness and personal development and it is politically and religiously independent.
Stewart is very much looking forward to bringing The Painting Experience back to Kientalerhof. Please contact our office by email or phone (888-639-8569, 415-455-4682) if you have any questions not covered below.

About Kientlerhof
Kiental is not a crowded spot for tourists in the Bernese Oberland. "Quiet Oasis" is a much better description. All those who look for the solitude of the mountains, the roaring of the waterfalls and the natural fragrance of the forests and meadows, and who are not afraid of steep trails will be fully rewarded by profound experiences of pure nature. Within short walking distance, you find ancient forests with transparent streams and crashing waterfalls as well as nearby hiking and cross-country paths. Kiental offers relaxation at any time of the year and includes several sports possibilities (swimming, tennis, hiking, biking, paragliding, Nordic walking, snow walking, cross-country skiing, skating, sledding and more). In every direction you see the magnificence of nature: glaciers, lakes, deep forests, green grass, wildlife, snow capped mountains and incredible skies.
The magnificent Lake of Thoune nearby offers a great number of additional possibilities for sports and recreation like golf (3 golf courses), sailing (there are sailing schools and the Kientalerhof has a sailboat), surfing, swiming, rafting, canoeing, amateur piloting, horseback riding, balloon flying, hiking, biking and so on.
The house is more than hundred years old. With its carefully renovated beautiful lecture halls and lounges in bright and pleasant colors -- together with the impressive natural surroundings -- it provides the best prerequisites for personal growth and creativity. The house has been renovated and expanded according to Feng Shui principles, using primarily ecological materials.
The hotel kitchen prepares balanced and richly varied natural meals which are mostly vegeterian. It is one of the strengths of the Kientalerhof. The bar is a place to relax, to exchange thoughts, to be together with friends and to dance spontaneously to the animating music of the "Barefoot Disco." The regular morning exercises are always well received. For sport and physical fitness, there is an outdoor swimming pool (in summer), a sauna, a steam bath, and a whirlpool.
Since its inception as a seminar hotel, the Kientalerhof has always supported its students and the development of personal and professional growth in a holistic and creative way. It is also a place to meet people and to build new and often long lasting friendships.
