Paint at Home

We are pleased to announce several programs designed to support your personal process painting practice at home. These programs are led by senior facilitators of the Painting Experience and provide you with the opportunity to:

• Make time for your creative life by integrating process painting into your daily practice.
• Bring your workshop discoveries home with you -- grow into your capacity for living creatively and wakefully. 
• Face the inevitable voices of criticism and discouragement that can arise when painting on your own.
• Experience process painting if you are unable to attend a workshop.

Study Groups

Study Groups are virtual communities of people dedicated to exploring process art in an ongoing way. Through bi-monthly conference calls, a private interactive blog, and individual support from the facilitator, you will receive the encouragement you need to develop and maintain a creative practice. You can participate wherever you live because you'll keep in touch with the group through the Internet, email and phone. 

Details:

Study group meets for 3 months. 

Prior attendance in a Painting Experience workshop is highly recommended but not essential. If you haven’t attended one of our workshops, we require an interview with the facilitator to ensure that the experience is what you are looking for.

Group size is limited to 6-8 participants.

Prior to the group start date, you will receive an invitation from the facilitator to join the group blog. Technical support is provided -- fear not, the blog is fun and easy to use!

As a participant in Study Group, you will have the option of connecting with the facilitator once a month to discuss your painting process individually as well as by sending your images by email.

The Individual Coaching Intensive:

This program is designed to individually support your personal painting practice at home.  This six-week intensive gives you focused time to get your practice established or revitalized. You will have a 30-minute session once a week with a senior facilitator either by phone or Skype. This option may be taken in conjunction with study group or separately.

Monthly Mentoring:

This program offers you personal support with a senior facilitator either by phone or Skype in order to cultivate and maintain your home painting practice on a monthly basis. You have the choice of a one-hour session per month for 3 months, or two 30-minute sessions per month for 3 months.  This option may be taken in conjunction with study group or separately.
